Saving Bookmarks

Saving bookmarked selections can prove to be both an incredible time saver and an invaluable tool. In the following scenario we will create a bookmark for a specific student group. I would like to track how a group of 10 or so students are performing both on specific tests as well as over time.

To begin with, make your desired selections. Most of the time this will be a group of students, or perhaps a content area and a section. Rarely, will you actually bookmark a test (unless you'd like to go back and revisit a specific part of that test).

1) Make your selections. In the following example I have selected a group of 10-20 students.

2) To add a bookmark go to your toolbar and click "Bookmarks" (Don't see your toolbar? Click here!).

  • This is also where you will go to revisit old bookmarks

3) Now click "Add Bookmark"

4) A screen will pop open and ask you to name your bookmark. Name your bookmark and click "OK"
  • You can ignore most of this information. Just rename your bookmark to something useful.

5) That's it! At any time you can revisit this bookmark by simply clicking "Bookmarks" in the toolbar, and selection your desired Bookmark.
